G2 Studio were commissioned to develop modular designs for 8 sites located in Waiheke Island. G2 studio developed a ‘set’ of villas, created in a distinctive and similar architectural language, but designed so that each is unique and customised to its particular location.

G2 Studio has used its experience and passion for modular construction to create these unique villas out of prefabricated components, and whilst they are all different, will be constructed out of a ‘kit’ of only five standard modules, which will be configured differently for each design. These modules will touch the ground lightly, not disturbing the landscape itself save for a very minimal footing at the rear edge, and each will be located to follow the site contours and be orientated towards the best views for each site.
